Are we ever going to have one??

Bouj now you are back online Flanno pjs has disappeared - hope all is well with her.

I know harrogate mum wants to catch up when she gets here but I figure before the kids go on school holidays - we might be able to catch up.

In the city somewhere - botanical gardens or south bank??

Thurs or Fri are my best days although I can do a Tues too. Between about 10 and 1.

The dog's (only one) ticket arrived today, so will have to live on pumpkin between now and christmas! looking forward to coming just have the MIL to deal with first, had a huge row last night. basically DH (we get married on saturday) is adopted nad MIL is very possesive. I am the evil arlett who is dragging him to australia.. funny but she keeps claiming tha canada would have been just fine, thats the logic i have atm! never mind will be relatively sane by the time i arrive other wise i will be sticking my fingers in my ears and saying lalalalala alot! Oh DD is 5 and starting at Mount samson school prep in the new year. Bump due at the end of april.

hello you lot

I'm living in UK atm, but from Brisvegas (Pine Rivers too!!) and moving back to Oz - hopefully Bris, depending on where dh or I get jobs - next year. So if it's okay with you I'm going to lurk around your threads in hopes of being invited to a meetup sometime in 2008

phdlife - I have been lurking forever and a day threatening to get there one day - as I finally have my visa its just a case of persuading my DH, the actual Aussie to make the decision about when! He is more nervous than me about it!

I can understand that HarrogateMum, dh and I both spent so long wanting to leave it does seem kind of weird to be desperate now to go back! It's a looooong way from anywhere, you can't just nick over to Europe or Ireland for the day like you can here. But we're old and well-travelled so we don't mind giving that up (for a while) .

Dh has to finish his MSc next May, then soon as one of has a job, we're off!

Chloe - Have heard good things about Mt Samson school.

So - I am wondering whether to wait until Harrogate gets here - which means I will have dd1 in prep - she starts prep next year too. I will then only have two to stress about running off etc.

So what do you think??
