there are lots of serviced apartmets you could stay in and most have facilities like swimming pools. We didn't stay in one as we moved straight into our condo, but will ask for you. How much are you willing to spend because they are quite expensive I think? Will see if I can get a link with a listing of them

That is just the sort of thing we are looking at, and the price is about right, we stayed at the apollo last time in 2001 and it cost £1700.00 for the two weeks.

Well be warned rental prices have soared in the last 6 months (up by 40%) and there is a huge shortage of places to rent so prices might not be the same as the website. Looks like it going to get worse so brace yourself for a price increase. We couldn't actually afford the rent here and worked out it was much cheaper to pay a mortgage

looked at the ones next to the hotal we stayed at last time as well, apartments are still alot cheaper than hotels, we could go up to 1000.00 pounds for the two weeks without going into the spending budget, really depends on flight costs, as i said it is over ayear away, but hoping to book in May as selling a flat we rent out, and made a bundle on it so are treating ourselves to one last really good holiday, before DH comes out the Army, just feel dont want to spend lots on accomadation, as all we will be doing really is sleeping in it!

Thank you for all your help as well, Dh has just said, do you know if there is any sort of accomadtion at changi, ( it was the first place we lived)

I was there last weekend and it looked very local and there was lots of basic accomodation for the airforce/army. It didn't look like the nicest place to go for a holiday and its a bit far out? But maybe I'm a snob! There are lots of lovely places on the eastcoast but not that familiar with it. I think Rojak lives on the eastcoast but shes on hols in the uk at the moment?
