she can come on one of our meetups, there's one with NottsMum and HumpyDumpy this Friday as a matter of fact. Probably loaf around and drink weak tea and give the kids lollipos and ribena and talk about 'Blighty.

Alll welcome

no, Love, I can't
nappies and wipes are a Thing Of The Past in this household
Yippppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

there is an organisation called Playgroup WA Inc which runs local groups, and was a lifeline for me
What she wants to do is pay a visit, probably in walking distance, to her local Child Health Clinic - look it up in the phone book - and get info from the nurse on duty there, there will also be flyers on other groups on the noticeboard

and she wants to get a motor, sadly it is a car dominated city

good luck

I am still in the nappy brigade:

For disposables:

Use baby love, huggies - best and then coles own brand just as good really. Usually one or the other brands are on sale each week.

For my 2yo I use Huggies nappy pants - pull ups but with maximum absorbancy - just easier to do the nappy changes with her standing up.

Snugglers are okay for day use BUT not strong enough for overnight use.

Use huggies swim pants

For breast pads -

find Pigeon ones are fab and very reasonable.

Wipes - if I am not using reusable wipes - use Huggies sensitive - in blue packet.

Swisspers travel pack for out and about.

Formula

  • much of a muchness but I used Karicare Gold for dd1.

    for baths

    natural instinct or pure earth

    natural instinct

    pure earth

You can get all the johnsons stuff I just prefer not to use it.

Another fabulous thing - paw paw ointment - fab for nappy rash or just red bums - cures it in no time.

    Hope that helps
