Hi,

my sister is moving to Singapore next week. Her company will put her in a hotel/ serviced appartment until she finds somewhere to live.

I was wondering if you could recommend some websites/ agencies I could look at for her as she is busy with her job.

She will be living alone so a one bedroom flat in condo block would be the type of thing she is looking for.

I don't know her budget at this stage & not sure where she will be based for work.

TIA

also try googling for the Singaporeexpats website as it has pictures of condos and you can search by location.

rental prices gone mad lately.
tell her to buy straits times (most reputable newspaper) every morning and look up the ads from estate agents.
One fantastic relocation team is: expat rentals. they dont charge the tenant but get their commission from landlord. more geared up for family type accomodation. just try, they have always been very helpfull. Can't say anough good things about them.
They have a website with photos

sigapore expat website is great for finding photos of condos but beware it is absolutely not updated with prices and availability. And they are rubbish if you expect any sort of feedback. But do look at photos. most condos are listed there.

Usual expat districts are 9/10/11, thus priciest.
the district stretching below orchard, along river valley road towards the city is lovely and much better value.

good luck
