Moving to Dallas Fort Worth

My husband has just accepted a job offer from his company to move to DFW later this year. His office will be in Fort Worth and he doesn't want a long commute so guess we will be living there. We are going for 2 years but not planning to ship stuff, just rent a furnished apartment out there. Any good neighbourhoods to look for? We have two kids under 4 so any tips about stuff to do and places to go would be much appreciated.

Have you looked for DFW expat groups on Facebook? I'm in Houston and there are lots of fb groups that answer newbies' questions about living here.
