Moving from Bahrain to Doha

So I have lived as an expat in Bahrain all my life as has my husband. A month ago my husband started a new job in Qatar.Myself and the children have remained in Bahrain with him commuting back at week ends.I went last week to Qatar over Eid as hadnt been for many years.Must admit my initial impressions are that Bahrain much nicer.I have 3 children at St Christophers in Bahrain.I have put their names down for Doha College and considering Sherbourne and DESS for younger 2.Wait lists are long but now dont fell in a rush to get there!! Has anyone else moved from Dubai or Bahrain to Doha? Any advice on schools there? Recommend compounds? Are there any social or beach clubs to join? Saw the Intercon but again a wait list there. Any advice would be great as struggling with thought of this move.

Hi camels. We know each other from Bahrain. Little Gems. I came back to uk in 2011 but going back out to Abu Dhabi next year. Two of my friends went to Doha from Bahrain in 2011. Their kids are at Doha College and they seem to like it. Pm me and maybe I can get an email address for you.
