Hi. I noticed on another thread that you had stayed in the Swissotel Marchant Court in Singapore. We're looking at that at the moment but are getting very little info from our travel advisor. She says she can get us a room that sleeps 5 but that would seem pretty squashy to me. Do you by any chance know if they have interconnecting rooms, or did you stay in a family room with how many kids? I'd be really grateful for any info. I e-mailed the hotel directly but they are offering me a 2 bed suite which would cost over £1,000 for the three nights which is more than we want to pay. Thanks.

We only had dd1 at the time and so had a double with a cot - a bit squishy as the cot was not one of those little travel cots - huge almost hospital cot size.

I am sure we got a deal for our hotel room - on another website. Unfortunately dh organised it and he is in the Uk at the moment.

I can't remember if I saw interconnecting rooms - they must have them.

Let me scout around for the website - we have used a couple - and see if I can find it.

The best thing about this hotel was proximity. A walk to resturants, park, metro. Bus link to Raffles and chijmes, shops. On the river for the bumboats - also a way to get around. Pool was fab - had a day spa as well ( did not use it - silly me!!)

hope that gives you a start. There are a number of websites. Just do a search and you should be fine.

Thank you. I've asked the travel consultant if she can find out the size of the room for me!!! There are plenty of hotels around, but I fancied the look of the swissotel for it's location as well.
