Um, if you mean moving from Essex in the UK to Stowmarket in the UK, this might be better off in Chat etc rather than Living Overseas!

(If there is a Stowmarket in NZ or somewhere then apologies!)

IMO, Essex is as nice as anywhere else. Hoping that your DC won't become chavtastic is surely down to you. You inculcate values and beliefs. I do.

sorry haven't used this before so wasn't sure where to put my question? :) i am aware it is down to your upbringing and i can assure you i give my son the correct guidance but i'm thinking more about the environment city life or country life trying to think what would be best all round?

I was brought up in Essex but left when I was in my 20s - personally I wouldn't want to go back - it's far to busy for me - now live in the west country. Sorry I don't know anything about Stowmarket.

If you haven't already done so put this in Chat or Property for more responses.

Well if that is what you are trying to avoid then I would say that Stowmarket is probably not the best place to go. It would be a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire from what I've heard......
