Calling Hong Kongers- local removal cost help!

Hello to all my fellow Hong Kongers. I am moving within HK island soon and just planned to use the same mover I had for my last move. However I can't remember what he charged me last time and he's come back with a quote of over $8000- that seems really steep to me. It's for full packing, but we'll unpack ourselves and the only big stuff is 1 bed and 1 sofa. Stupidly I've left it really late to get other quotes and still move on the date I want. Can anyone give me comparisons of what they were charged? Am I being unrealistic about the price, or is he taking the piss? Thanks!

I paid Tradewinds $10/square foot of apartment he had to pack (assuming there's a lift). This was for full pack and unpack- would have charged less if I'd done stuff myself. I really recommend them if they can fit you in.
