Uterine cancer now in liver :(

Please does anyone have any advice about what happens now and what to expect?
My Aunty was diagnosed with uterine cancer in May, it was originally believed to be contained. She had a hysterectomy in June and was told it was stage two and an aggressive form.

The doctor said she could have chemo and radiotherapy but she is very frail and he said with the form she has it might not make much difference, in terms of whether it would come back or not. It was 50/50 so she chose to only have the surgery, although we hoped she'd change her mind and have treatment.
The past two months she has started to feel fatigued and nauseous occasionally. I tried to persuade her to tell the doctor. She then developed bad constipation and finally felt bad enough to go to the hospital. They have now told her its in her liver and she won't get better Sad
We are all in bits and I'm terrified about next year, does anyone have advice on how to cope? I have such a small family and I almost can't bear to think of what's going to happen

Sorry to hear you have had this sad news.

I would call Macmillan on 0808 808 0000. They can talk to you about all the different sorts of support available in your area. They also have medical professionals you can talk to if you have questions about the medical side of things.

You can also ask your GP to refer your aunt to a hospice. This doesn't mean she has to be admitted but they provide all sorts of support of different types to patients and their families.

Hope you all get the support you need at this really difficult time.
