Please does anyone have any advice about what happens now and what to expect?
My Aunty was diagnosed with uterine cancer in May, it was originally believed to be contained. She had a hysterectomy in June and was told it was stage two and an aggressive form.
The doctor said she could have chemo and radiotherapy but she is very frail and he said with the form she has it might not make much difference, in terms of whether it would come back or not. It was 50/50 so she chose to only have the surgery, although we hoped she'd change her mind and have treatment.
The past two months she has started to feel fatigued and nauseous occasionally. I tried to persuade her to tell the doctor. She then developed bad constipation and finally felt bad enough to go to the hospital. They have now told her its in her liver and she won't get better
We are all in bits and I'm terrified about next year, does anyone have advice on how to cope? I have such a small family and I almost can't bear to think of what's going to happen
