We found out yesterday that my mum has Cancer. It is still sketchy at the moment but it is potentially Kidney cancer. Apparently her case will be discussed by the oncologists in the next couple of days. I am so scared about the outcome and really stressing for her as I can't face the thought of possibly losing her to this dreadful disease. We have no family close by and our DD is only 5 weeks old so I already feel all over the place emotionally as it is. Any words of wisdom much appreciated. Thank you.

crazycat lady im sorry you are joining the group no one wants to be in.I have had this devastating news with mum then Dad,Firstly just take it easy on yourself as this is a shock.Once you get more info you will know what the treatment plan is,Dont google !!!
Mum was given a yr to live in 2007 and is still here and Dads cancer typically gives pple less than i yr and he has made 3 although not good at the mo.Cancer is scary however there are many treatments available now.
