.... with terminal cancer in both lungs. hes been told he has months to live Sad

we have a holiday book for 4 weeks time and the docs have given their blessing to still take him as planned...
what happens with the insurer now? can they now terminate the policy, or if they keep it, how much are they likely to bump up the price by? he was only diagnosed a few hours ago...

hes had his symptoms for a good year but insisted on otc remedies instead of his doctor Confused he gave up smoking about 15 years ago after he got angina from smoking 60 a day.

also any tips on making his last holiday as comfortable and enjoyable as poss? itll be our last holiday together as a family x

I'm so sorry honey Sad

Now, I'm no expert but I do know that there are specialist insurance companies for people with life-limiting illnesses. Obviously though, you can expect the price to be much higher.
And as for your current insurer, I would think they will cancel the policy on the back of this news.

As I said, I'm no expert. I just wanted to offer what little knowledge I do have.
