I'm not a mom, but I've recently had something happen to me and my girlfriend with her parents, causing her to stop talking to me and break up with me after 2 years of friendship and 6 months of a relationship.

She's not gay, well, not really. She meant a lot to me... I find it crazy how far they went to get her away from me. She won't even talk to me now. They've convinced her I'm as bad as they want her to think...

I don't know why... I'm a virgin, never done drugs, get good grades and such. Why? Just because I'm gay?

Are there other parents like this? Whats the reasoning behind it?

Oh and what does DD, DH, and DS mean on this website? I'm new...

Hi Sabbertron, welcome to MN. DH, DP, DS, DD DSD is darling husband, partner, son, daughter, step daughter etc.

I am sorry you are hurting. Yes, some people are more horrified by being gay than any of the bad choices others make in their lives. Fortunately these people are very rare. It is boring how often I have to "come out" to people because my sexuality just isn't interesting or gossip worthy.

As you get older (you talk about grades so I'm guessing you're teens or early 20s) the people you socialise with will mature and have had exposure to more life experiences so you will encounter more tolerance.
