Hi, just rung tax credits to inform them hubby has moved back into- our home.
They're sending the form for us to fill in and send back, just wondered will they ask where hubby has been?
For various reasonshe doesn't want to go into details..mainly it's been his mates room whilst his mate was at work ( different shifts), but his mate said he'd prefer tax credits don't have his address.

Nothing to hide, just worrying they'll want info we can't give.

I don't think the Tax Credit form is that detailed. They treat you as a couple if you live together and the declared income will be the joint income.

I do not think they will need or want info about previous address/circumstances just date he moved back in, work details etc so do not worry too much about it.

I would be a bit hmm as to why his friend does not want tax credits to know of his address though it is not even his claim so would not affect him in any way surely?
