I NEED ADVICE ABOUT BENEFITS!

hello all today i got a letter today saying that i am no longer going to get income support as i have just moved in with my boyfriend and his parents we are both 17 and i have a 14 month old and i am 30 weeks pregnant i was wondering if anyone knew if we could get any other benefits as i need to pay for my babys milk and food and need to buy baby bits for when number 2 comes can anyone help??

I'd suggest that you enter your details into this Online Benefits Calculator as a first step. Check out things like Freecycle for baby equipment and clothing. Ask your Health Visitor about breastfeeding as that's far cheaper than formula. And do talk to your GP about more reliable forms of contraception once your new baby arrives.

Surely you still have clothes etc from your first child . Borrow as much as you can , look on ebay and freecycle and check out whatever nearly new sales are coming up. You may get milk tokens but best speak to your hv/surestart adviser about whether you can get any formula at a cheaper rate from them (or perhaps breastfeed?). Also you'll get additional Child Benefit for your second child.
