Not sure if this is the correct category for posting this warning but if you don't want to lose money please read on!
I'll keep it as brief as possible...I bought a present for my grand- daughter's birthday, online from Bradmore Babystore ( professional looking website + good prices) and paid with Paypal. The website claims items are posted , 1st class, within 3 days and refunds paid if goods are returned.
It didn't arrive for weeks, long past the birthday (so had to buy another one from a toyshop) When the parcel did arrive I returned it to the store ( confirmed by Royal Mail tracking).
Bradmore baby store initially replied to my emails saying they would consider a refund once they had the item back, since then they do not reply to emails and no one answers the phone, it is impossible to get in touch with them.
Due to their delaying tactics more than 45 days have elapsed and Paypal wont pursue the refund.
On the internet I have since seen many similar complaints about this store, if only I had checked before buying.
I would not want anyone else to lose money they can ill afford, so please check for negative reviews before buying online.

I too have been stung by these clowns. Ordered a baby wetsuit 3 weeks ago and despite numerous phone calls and emails, have only raised 1 reply saying it was dispatched 10d ago- needless to say nothing has arrived. DO NOT TOUCH THESE PEOPLE WITH A BARGE POLE. They are con artists. Am currently pursuing a dispute through paypal. Have given them a further week to send the wetsuit, then will be reporting them to trading standards and watchdog.

This store is near my house

It's s tempting to print these threads out and go in and ask then to explain themselves

I have just been stung by these people, I ordered my 3 year old son a christmas present on the 25th nov.paid over £70. Called last week and was told it would be here by the end of the week! Well here we are a week and a half later, no gift and no one answering the phone since Tuesday! I have looked up the address on google maps and know where they are so might have to pop around to get gift or money back!! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!

I want to add my warning too ... DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I ordered Christmas presents at the end of November. Their site clearly promises dispatch within 3 days. I emailed, submitted their online form and attempted to call several times everyday but they never picked up for more than 3 weeks. Eventually I cancelled the order by email and raised a paypal complaint to make sure I got my refund. I bought the items from a different retailer only for the Bradmore order to arrive 4 days later. Now I had double presents.

I've been waiting for paypal to complete the resolution as I need Bradmore to collect the parcel at their expense (it's large & heavy and processed after I'd clearly cancelled) but paypal have decided in favour of Bradmore. I don't have the energy to request a return directly with Bradmore as in 3 weeks post order they failed to respond to any communication I don't expect them to be easy to deal with in respect of a refund request now 1 month post delivery. Plus the expense of sending the parcel would mean I'd barely get any money back. I'll sell the items locally or give them as gifts instead.

Needless to say I'll never use this company again and would discourage anyone else from doing so.

These people are an absolute bunch of scammers.

Ordered a Christmas present for my son, which never arrived - but they have still taken payment for it.

I have sent in excess of 20 emails which have all been ignored and they simply don't answer their phone

Avoid at all costs.

I wonder if they're going bust?

I too have been scammed by these people. I paid £20 for some baby wipes and a little toy. Heard no response from them and finally got a refund today after claiming through PP. DISGUSTING!

Well their website looks good on first glance but if you look more closely at the About Us info or their news items on the right, the site is littered with grammatical and spelling errors. They are certainly no fans of capital letters! Could this be Two Left Feet all over again?

DO NOT USE THIS STORE!!!!
I ordered my goods, 2 gifts for new babies, beginning of January (2nd to be exact). The money was taken from my bank on the 5th and I've heard nothing from them! No goods ever arrived, nobody answers the phone, and I've rang every day for 3 weeks!!! No response to my e-mails, I've sent 7 in total!!! I have opened a dispute with my bank and they are investigating but not looking good. Avoid at all costs!

I reported them to Consumer Direct on 08454 04 05 06 today as I too didn't get my order until I chased them and then it was missing a bit. I ordered a name train so not much good as a present with one letter missing. Consumer Direct then report them to trading standards. The guy I spoke to asked me to go back to the threads I'd seen against them and urge you all to phone. They pass on all complaints to trading standards but ts need to have a number of complaints before they can do anything. Hope you all get your issues resolved.

Hello,
I just phone Consumer Direct too on the above number and wanted to post this on any threads I could find with similar issues. I also reported them to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040. Consumer Direct said they would liaise with the police.

I'm so annoyed about these people, can't believe they are allowed to operate in this manner. I, similarly, ordered an item from them in January and couldn't get a response to any of my emails, calls or through their Facebook page.

If we all report them hopefully they won't be able to trade much longer and scam more people, it's a disgrace!!
