I'm sorry if that's a stupid question but we have a nasty, and complicated, situation which has arisen concerning my late and lovely df's will.
The bank whom df appointed as executors of his will, declared that he had died intestate for various reasons which seemed at the time a logical decision . But now my half brother (who is no relation to my Df - same dm, different dfs) has engaged solicitors to contest the declaration of intestacy. The bank have turned the matter over to their contestation department who say that it is the bank, and not us, who are their clients. At the same time, the bank are saying that they have done all that is required of them as far as settling the estate is concerned, so they also have no further business with us!
It's a long involved matter and I could probably fill pages but please, how do we find an effective and experienced and successful solicitor? Many grateful thanks in advance!
