Hello.
My father is a non resident landlord of a property in England. It is leasehold. The property management company representing the leaseholder have various stipulations regarding changes made to the property.
The letting agency are aware of these.
Some changes have recently been made that do not adhere to the property management company's requirements and my father is concerned that they may fine him as a result.
He is asking the letting agency to correct the changes so they are in keeping with the requirements.
The initial response from the letting agency is that the requirements have been adhered to but I have photographic proof (from the letting agency themselves) that they haven't. I've drafted a response back with photos but they won't get it until Tuesday.
What if they continue to say nothing is wrong and do not rectify the situation and the property management company think otherwise and fine my father?
Should my father seek legal advice - this feels a little fuss-about-nothing as the letting agency might come back to him on Tuesday and say "indeed, we will correct this immediately" but while I have a moment I thought I'd post here too.
Thanks for reading.
