My ds's dad lives in one city and we live in another about 200 miles away. If he apples for a contact order, would the court process take place in his city (meaning we travel for any of the legal stuff) or would it take place where ds lives? I've confused myself with the reading I've been doing and it would be a big help to know :)

Generally the court where the application is made.

Agree with BB, it's where the children live.

+1 to where the child lives.

Even if the application starts where he lives, it will be transferred to the court nearest where the children live.
