My DD ( not a student) rents a room in a house in London. Her rent includes all utility bills and Council tax. In the first 5 weeks of her tenancy the Letting Company have forgotten to pay the gas bill and now the Council Tax bill. I am concerned that the unpaid council tax bill will affect my DD's credit rating. Is this the case or is it the landlord's name on the bill.
Any suggestions as to what she should do? She has obviously spoken to the Letting Agency and they are now paying the bill.
