Hi

I would like to start a monthly outdoor walk in our areas for pre schoolers and parents to attend. I am not sure what insurance or arrangements I need to make but;

No money will change hands.
I will at no time be responsible for any child except my own.
The walks will take place in urban parks and on our common outside the town in public spaces.

I will not advertise as such but simply rely on a facebook page/webpage and word of mouth, the aim to be completely inclusive but not to get too big.

i.e. This month the "insert group name here" will meet at the big oak in x park at 10am on the xth of February, we can walk round the park before finishing at the swings, the Red Leaf cafe on x street is open if anyone fancies food or coffee there afterwards

Advice very welcome prior to me releasing this idea into the big bad world

Call your local council . You may still need public liability insurance and risk assessment.
