I think there's a new Jimi Hendrix album out about now of his unreleased recordings. I guess it's difficult to know whether they are what the artists would have wanted - although you somewhat suspect not?

Once artists are dead, is it just up to their chlidren/wives/husbands to release whatever they feel like? Or is it possible to have it in written in a rock&roll star's will that they never wish to have their barrel-scrapings ever see the light of the day?
