A few months ago my ex-h had his solicitors send me a letter saying I was denying him access to the children. Not true. He has MH issues and chose not to see them. I rang his solicitors on receipt this letter (didn't see the point of going through a solicitor myself) to explain the above.

He asked for weekly access. I said we needed to build it back up slowly, which we have done but he has been consistently late for access and today he didn't turn up at all.

Should I write to his solicitor so this is documented? Any other advice?

Keep a diary. Was it initially court ordered?

Thanks for the reply.

Yes it was court ordered that he could see the children one evening a week and on a Sunday. He dropped the evenings years ago, just before his breakdown. Last year he had sporadic contact with the DCs.

And I have kept diaries for every year we have been divorced which obviously contain details about his level of contact.
