StepDad getting contact of DSD

im prempting what may be going to happen in my DSDs life. Her mum and step dad are on the rocks, only being married just under 2 years. Now step dad has made it clear he only looks after his DSD because he's married to her mum, however he 'pretends' to people she's his real daughter (he doesn't see his two other daughters at all). He also try's anything to cause issues for my DP even though he sees her every weekend and half the holidays.

They have a daughter together so contact agreements would be in place.

My question is....

If he tried to get access to my DPs daughter would DP have a say in the matter or would it be down to exW??

My DP has PR.

I hope that makes sense... DSD is 5 but doesnt like her stepdad that much. He's also been in prison for GBH for 2 years when he put my DP in hospital as well as an innocent bystander.

If he applies to court for contact your DP will be a party to the proceedings.

If mum consented to him having contact and DP thinks he's a risk seeing her on his own he can apply to court for a prohibited steps order.

That's reassuring to know, thanks.
