TTC 3 and 4!

Finally my DH has agreed (after 7 years) that we can ttc 3 and 4. We always wanted 4 (he is one of 5- 9 if you count half siblings too) and I am one of 3. We have DS age 9 and DD age 7(nearly 8). Money, space ,work and DS1 special needs all got in the way.
My questions if any of you have time are
We have 4 bedrooms but always lots of visitors so I would love to keep a spare room. Am I being completely unrealistic to ask big ones to share with little ones? Both their rooms are plenty big enough, possible even to put a divide curtain.
Is this age gap going to be a nightmare with school runs activities etc.

My coil is out but (so far I think) it may not be too late to do an about turn.I think though now if I did I would have a hard time persuading DH!

I had two, then a gap, and then another 2. It worked well for me although there are a few years of chaos I found taking the older two to Brownies/cubs etc. with two little ones quite tough for a while, but it doesn't last forever and things are getting much easier now. My older two are teens now and much more independant, but obviously I'm now doing Brownies/cubs etc. with the younger two.

I'm not sure about the rooms thing but I'm not sure putting a baby in with an older child would have worked for me. I'd probably rather keep the little two together and let the older ones keep their own rooms. It depends on your children though.

I had the coil removed to TTC #3 and fell first month so beware if you're not 100% sure just yet.

Good luck - exciting times!
