well, i know how..but how? was it in you r plans or did you have lucky accidents?.... this is my experience dd1 - step-daughter ,came with DH. DS1 -stepson- came with DH . DD2 - birth child from ex-h ,drunken accident.DD3 birth child from ex-h, the pill failure ,aka food poisoning september weekend in blackpool .DS2 birth child from ex-h ,complete mystery... found out i was having him at 5 months pg, still had periods wtf?was on pill too!DS3 step son came with DH , DS4 - PLANNED BABY! with dh ,DD4- 50% extra free..... ds4's twin ,wasnt concieved at same time, but 2 weeks later according to scans!( how did that happen????) . i also had MC's ,one between dd2 & dd3 and another before twins, whilst i had implant...( was told it was impossible, yeah right).... would like another but DH has had snip.... but you never know, just needs one little swimmer to break out

Greed
After dc1 I always wanted 'just one more' and ended up with 9. Didn't plan that many in the beginning (plans were 2 before 30y and continue with career...)

8 m/c along the way but got there in the end.

I am still in awe of you juuule. Nine! Nine?!

I love seeing big families. Makes me smile.

Sorry to crash thread, ladies. Only have two. Would like one more but DH says 'No chance, love!'

9 Juuule wow!

Respect !

How do you do it though? I mean, how do you cope/live. I don't mean it to sound patronising.....I'm genuinely interested.
I've only 2 children and that's bloody hard at times!

ds1 and 2 planned
dd was on pill but very happy accident (on my part)
ds3 broken condom. shock for all of us but as soon as I knew, he was staying.

I've always been broody for more but common sense stopped me at 2 I guess I'm just very lucky I got the four. ~DH wanted to stop at 2 but he does love the extras now theyre here.
Dh has had the snip too and I also have wondered about having a wonder swimmer slipping by.

None of mine were planned Never quite got the hang of family planning until dd4 was born and dh went for the snip. That seemed to do the trick

Not all mine were planned but they were all wanted! I have 5 kids from 4 successful pregnancies (2 are twins) and lost 4 babies at varying stages in the 1st and late 2nd trimester. I am happy with my 5, it doesn't always seem 'a lot' to me, I sometimes get broody but know i cannot have any more, I am so lucky to have the ones I have as I have health issues which make m/c very likely all the way up till full term.

DrLove - did I work it out right that you have 9 children altogether!

You and Juuule should get together for a day trip That wouldn't be hectic at all
