ok, so the summer holidays are here. I always find that for the first week it's a novelty to them all and they are all just happy to watch dvds, and relax, but after that we get the 'i'm bored' etc. So, what ideas (if any) have you all got for what to do this summer, or do you just go with the flow and take it as it comes?

log on to your local city council website and look up all the free/cheap activities and places to visit, we live in sunny Birmingham and there is a wide variety here.
There is also alot on at our local leisure centres also.
I have 3 dc and I let them choose 1 activity every other day and i choose an 'at home activity' in between HTH xxxxxx

Well are you anywhere near to a soft play/indoor play centre? My eldest adores these and I get quite a lot of mileage from saying if you are very good this week and do x and xx then you can go to the Playcentre on Friday.

Also I got a whats on for kids booklet from our local council.

I have also joined him in a playscheme where you can leave them. Cant wait!
