I think people 'judge'/pass comments no matter what your family is... You'll get opinions if you've 'only' 1, if you're all boys, all girls, large family etc. I have 3, which isn't exactly a larger family, but I'm always quick to point out how much I enjoy it if I get a negative response from someone. Usually, to be fair, people are just making pointless chit chat, for something to say, eg 'You've got your hands full' etc.

I agree with the post above. And it's true - I do have my hands full! It just gets annoying hearing it All The Time. I just tend to smile and move along as fast as possible.

Everyone seems to have an opinion regardless as mnetter15 says. I only have 1 and if I had £1 for every time some smartass felt the need to comment on how I should have another child for my dd's sake I would be a very rich woman. Also my dB has 4 children and he gets comments like oh haven't you got a busy house (while sneering) or I couldn't cope with all that chaos/noise or my personal favourite don't you own a tv then?!? Hahaha etc. The fact my brother has a large family makes my choice even more surprising to people. If you can just ignore. Wine

I'd like to think most people wouldn't be so rude as to judge openly but if they do it says more about them than you.

We have three children and I'm not sure we're done. Smile I wouldn't have more than four, though.

Most of it doesn't bother me. the only time it has was 2 weeks ago when a neighbor asked if we had enough room in or house for another one (I'm 38 weeks with number 4 but also have a stepchild that stays eow). I thought fuck off you nosey bitch.
