Hiya I'm currently pregnant with baby number 4 due in 7 weeks and I've been looking at pushchairs for months both tandem and side by side and I just cant seem to make my mind up! I've had doubles before one that was too wide to fit through front door and was a nightmare to get around and a tandem that was great but really really heavy! My husband drives but I dont and I walk everywhere but never get the bus x

Thanks for peoples help in advance Smile Smile Smile

In the end I found that the nipper 360 came up fairly narrow for a side by side, it was great when there was room to use it, you can push it one handed and it turns in a small space.

I used a combination of the nipper and then a good single buggy and a sling for when the pavements were narrow. The slings were the Ergo/Tula/Boba type that spread the weight really well so I could wear them longer.

I've got the britax side by side double (can't remember what it's called ) I've had it for about 18 months and use it most days.
I haven't yet found a door I can fit through.
It's starting to get a bit heavy but I do have a 3 year old and 1 year old in it.
You can put a car seat on top of one side and it has huge sun canopys.
It folds really easily and fits comfortably in our boot.
Would definitely recommend.

Oh yes the also has a really useful feature on the handles that allows easy one handed pushing.

Out n About Nipper double here too. its the second pram I've used for our twins after a much wider first pram. I love the new one & even though I've only used it since the twins turned 1 I wish I'd had it since birth! congrats on No4 btw

We have a Phil&Ted, which I have loved.

We don't have a car, though, and I believe they are a bit bulky for fitting in some smaller car boots.

I had the Nipper 360 and the Baby Jogger City Mini which I preferred. I'd probably go for the City Mini GT if I was choosing now.

Are you ever going to have to attached a baby car seat to it? And if so, which car seat do you already have and what is it compatible with?

We ended up with a Jane PowerTwin with DC4 as I needed a car seat to click in and the toddler restrained. I really liked it.

I had a Phil n Teds side by side twin with DC2 and DC3 but did find it a bit wide.
Keep an eye on your local Gumtree as there are always twin prams coming up on ours as when you need one you need one but they get used for a relatively short period of time.

I got a joovy caboose off someone on ebay and it was amazing. You have to use a carseat from birth but after 6 months baby csn sit in the front seat. The back is meant for a child to stand or sit on but i used to get one standing and one sitting too, so three kids on a buggy that fitted through the narrowest doorways, most people only saw 1 child so avoided the you have got your hands full comments, and i could fold it or pick it up with 1 hand.

Nipper 360.

Loved it so much that I bought the single version for DC3.
