Omg what am i going to do. Anyone been in same situation? Any advice?

Middleagedmotheroftwo Sat 16-Aug-14 09:54:07

No advice for now, but advice for later.... Use contraception if you think you can't cope with so many kids!!!

claire103 Sat 16-Aug-14 10:20:44

for your information im on the pill. if you've only got nasty things to say then go away.

howdoimakehimnoticeme Sat 16-Aug-14 10:23:52

POAS. Then you'll know for sure.

And go to GP and review contraception for sure if you definitely don't want any more kids.

Dont panic poas

POAS.
What makes you think you may be pregnant?

Middleagedmotheroftwo Sat 16-Aug-14 10:30:24

It wasn't meant to be nasty. If pill isn't working I would either go for something more permanent next time, if you feel your family is complete, or double up on your methods. Pill isn't 100% effective so too he 100% sure of not getting pregnant you need to take better precautions if being pregnant would be the disaster you seem to think it is.

i may just be panicking. my daughter is 7 months and im breastfeeding AND im on cerazette. feel really tired, period like pain, backache, headache. could just be run down. right!!!!!

Mumof3xox Sat 16-Aug-14 10:38:18

Poas op it's the only way to find out

I would do it ASAP too to clear up confusion

claire103 Sat 16-Aug-14 10:50:56

really dont want my husband to know, especially if im just over reacting. can't get to shop for pregnancy test without him sad

howdoimakehimnoticeme Sat 16-Aug-14 10:53:57

Why can't you go to the shop without your husband and why don't you want him to know? Surely it's as much his issue as yours and contraception is his responsibility too?

Why not? confused

Is there a reason yoj dont want to tell dh? Is your period late?

Ok, you are not all that likely to be pregnant, are you?
And IF you are, whether you find out today or on Monday won't make a difference.
So, take a deep breath, have some [tea] and remind yourself that you are taking contraception, that your symptoms are really not specific for pregnancy and you are BFing.

For your own peace of mind you need to do a test and yes, then consider whether you are happy with the level of safety your current method of contraception gives you.

ok thanks i guess i'm just being silly. i love all my lovely children. 3 boys 13, 4, 3 and little girl 7 months. hard work but wouldn't change it for the world.wink

claire103 Sat 16-Aug-14 11:47:43

and didn't have period last month but been told thats normal on cerazette some women have no periods

MultipleMama Sat 16-Aug-14 21:24:48

POAS.

If you can't get to shop with him, why not by off superdrug/boots etc website and have it delivered. You don't always have to physically go out and buy a pregnancy stick.

I don't know why many women are so suprised when they get pregnant on pill and/or breastfeeding, it isn't 100% effective. A condom or femmedom should be worn too if you're certain that you don't want any more or even panicking at the thought of having another.

I have 6. 4 under 2. It's exhausting and hard work but I always wanted a big family so falling PG with #7 isn't such a big deal for us.

claire103 Sat 16-Aug-14 22:37:43

I had 5 kids in 4 years (only 3 pregnancies)

It has been tiring but so rewarding too.

AuditAngel Sun 17-Aug-14 21:29:52

MyCrazyLife Mon 18-Aug-14 14:12:56

Claire when I was on cerazette (and breastfeeding) I constantly thought I was pregnant. It was a nightmare. I'm so much happier now I'm on microgynon and have a regular period each month.

How come you can't go to the shop without DH, though?

claire103 Mon 18-Aug-14 17:21:23

its complicated. he's always around and comes with me everywhere. i never go out on my own he always comes with me sad its hard with 3 little ones and i don't have any friends to talk to.
