can someone recommend a decent fridge/freezer or separate offerings that will provide a reasonable amount of food for a voracious hungry family with 4 eat-me-out-of-house-ad-home kids?

im tired having to shop 2-3 times a week

p.s we don't have massive space for an American fancy number

TIA

Hi we have a normal sized Fridge freezer in our kitchen and a chest freezer in our shed. The chest freezer is a god send and we usually do a monthly shop now and there's 7 of us.

We have 3 kids and have had a large fridge, a small fridge and a chest freezer. Currently have small fridge and large freezer in garage with drawers. Chest freezer was annoying. Much better with the drawers. Each one is labelled and that makes it so much easier to see what there is. When we had the tall fridge it was only ever full once in a blue moon so felt it was pointless so we got rid, bought a small one and extended the counter.

5 kids here, when we moved I made sure we had two separates: a tall larder fridge in the kitchen and a tall larder freezer in the futility room. Never regretted it once.

Have to say we are still struggling on fresh food with a weekly shop. Can anyone recommend the best online supermarket for the larger quantities? They all seem to be designed for families of 4 at the most.

Fridge freezer with large fridge bit and small freezer and spare freezer in the garage seems to work for us. Plus not being too fussy about what really needs to go in the fridge if it's being eaten quickly

We have a regular fridge freezer with 5dc, 3 of them teenage boys. Never need to go shopping more than once a week. I get a big shop monthly, which can get difficult to fit everything in, then a smaller weekly shop. All depends what food you buy though. I don't buy any frozen meals and only use my freezer for meat, veg from the garden and bread.

NAR4 - that makes sense, it's the veg we run out of first! Well done for growing your own.
