Any bilingual English / Italian playgroups in Cambridge?

Oriunda Mon 02-May-16 14:47:20

Em - check out Little Italy East London group in Facebook www.facebook.com/groups/370251929800535/?ref=ts&fref=ts

We're mostly based around the E17/E11 postcode and arrange regular meet ups for parents and children. Lots of Italians in my area now and we've actually just arranged some Saturday classes with an Italian teacher for our children.

Hi there,

Does anyone know of an Italian playgroup in/around the Putney/Fulham/Clapham/Wimbledon area? My son is 14 months and being raised bilingually and I am keen for him to socialise with other Italian babies. Unfortunately we can't attend the class at Eddie Katz on a Thursday in Wimbledon so if anyone has any other suggestions, that would be really helpful.

Also, if there are any Italian speaking mothers/nannies who would like to meet once a week in Putney, please let me know!

Thank you
Sophie

Hi, I'd really like to meet some parents with Italian/part Italian kids as I'd love for my daughter to continue hearing Italian outside the home environment. Does anyone live near NW11 or NW10? She goes to nursery in W11 so also around there would be good smile She has just turned 2 but gets along with kids of all ages lol. Hope to hear from you soon!!

Would anyone on this thread be interested in filling out a short questionnaire regarding bilingualism? I'm currently conducting research into the field and I'm looking for some more respondents. I'll honestly be so grateful for any takers! The questions are in both Welsh and English, here's the web link, https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MVKQMRL

Many thanks in advance!

I live in NW London and am calling out to all Italian speaking mums and dads out there! WE MUST UNITE!!! For the good of our little creatures we need to carry on socialising in Italian as much as possible with them!! I'd like to organise get togethers once or twice a week (weekdays and/or weekends are ok!) in North West/West/North London - a place to suit all families, once we have a few going we can decide a location easy for everyone to access.
For the records, I have a 15 month old girl, my partner and I are Italian, I speak three languages, my partner moved to the UK 2 years ago so still struggles at times with English, we speak Italian to our little one. She'll be starting nursery soon and I don't want her losing her ability to socialise and recognise Italian. GET IN TOUCH!!!!

ciao a tutti,

Grazie!

Does anyone know of or would like to help me set up a playgroup for Italian speaking kids/parents in the NW London area? I'm not first language Italian but I would be more than willing to help set up a group with a mother tongue speaker.

Thanks

Ciao mamme,

We are at the start of organising a brand new playgroup in Islington from October 2010 to promote bilingualism in young babies from 0-3 years old. We will sing, dance and play together in Italian.

Before booking the venue I would like to find out how many people are interested as I would need 10 to fill our room.

To register your interest and for more information on venue, times and prices please contact me on
poochpr@googlemail.com

Grazie

Hi, does anyone know of any Italian speaking playgroups in the Tooting, Wimbledon, Earlfield or Balham area. I'm English but my husband is Italian and my son who is 14 months is being brought up bilingual. It would be good find somewhere where he can interact with other children in Italian. Or meet local parents in the same situation. My Italian is good, but not perfect!
