The Role
We need to make our processes more robust and have now selected Xero as our preferred system to implement. We are looking for someone who preferably has Xero experience as well as some time over the next couple of months to get this up and running for us. We also need some support for the team, especially the new operations manager in terms of how to use it going forward. Our busy season coincides with the harvest in September, October so ideally we need to get everything up and running before then. There has been lots of groundwork already done so there is already a structure in place.

There may also be other adhoc tasks required such as helping the managing director negotiate their way through the mysteries of deaing with bodies such as HMRC & the EU as we need to change our year end date and other such delights!

The organisation

Feedback aims to inspire the global community to implement positive solutions to the problem of food waste. We work with governments, businesses and civil society at the international level to catalyse change in social attitudes and demonstrate innovative solutions to tackle food waste at the global scale.

The organisation was founded in 2009 by environmental campaigner Tristram Stuart, author of the book Waste: Uncovering the Global Food Scandal (Penguin, 2009). Through combining high-profile, innovative and inspiring public campaigning with rigorous world-class research, the Feedback team is widely credited with lifting food waste from a neglected non-issue to a global priority. Now international institutions including the United Nations, European Commission and International Monetary Fund regard food waste as a top issue.

Our campaigns include: Feeding the 5000, Gleaning Network UK and The Pig Idea.
