The Role
Are you an exceptional proactive PR Executive looking for a part-time in-house role? Do you have experience of maximising PR for an FMCG brand? Have you got great interpersonal skills that enable you to liaise with both consumer and business publications? Are you up for a challenge?

This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-time PR Executive with a strong media relations background to join a small and fast growing business. As the in-house PR function, you would be expected to hit the ground running and develop a robust PR Strategy that will keep both our brand and organisation front of mind with consumers, the trade and targeted consumer and business publications. Our products have a fantastic range of USP’s that we need to shout about!

A bit about us
We are a small and rapidly growing company that produces a range of laundry and household products, which are kind to your skin, kind to your pocket and kind to your environment.

With our innovative range of Laundry and Dryer products, we are revolutionizing the laundry sector. We have big ambitions to change the way people use laundry products, as well as driving awareness about how everyone should live a life without harsh chemicals. The whole range is approved by Allergy UK and also the celebrity Kim Woodburn, the ‘Queen of Clean’. One product in our range is also supported by the National Eczema Society.

The nitty-gritty
In this part-time role, you will:
•Work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop and implement a proactive press and public relations programme
•Proactively and constantly seek out editorial opportunities
•Build positive relationships with key journalists and influencers
•Place product, feature and profile coverage across various media channels (National, Consumer, Regional, Broadcast and Online)
•Manage general ‘Press Office’ activity, making yourself available for media calls (which may be outside of office hours)
•Maintain the reputation of the organisation and Identify potential issues via a Crisis Management Plan
•Exceptional time management and organisational skills
•Attend media and networking events as relevant
Location: Based in our Bristol office on Park Street
Hours:20 hours per week.
Salary:£20k pro-rata

About you
•Graduate calibre
•3 years or more PR experience (either in-house or agency)
•Experience of consumer and/or FMCG PR
•Experience of working on both proactive and reactive media coverage.
•Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure
•Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and verbal communications skills
•Excellent media relations skills
•Proven track record of achieving editorial coverage
