Where do you get your investment advice from?

Hello MN investors. I'm setting up an SEIS and need to reach potential investors. I don't want to fall foul of the ethics of mumsnet so I'm won't try to sell it here - but I'd love some advice on where people go to get recommendations for investments, as I need to know who to get my SEIS investment opportunity info out to. Who do you listen to and trust? IFAs? Accountants? Personal relationships only? I'm new to this so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any replies.

I would use an IFA, but I know a very good local firm so perhaps easy for me to say. Can you find a local recommended one- personal recommendation from friends, anything like that? I appreciate not always a situation where you just google and go to the top one, you want a trusting relationship.

I research and get information and make my own decisions.
