George Osborne has announced today that transfers will be permitted. The expectation is that this will happen around April 2015.This should provide access to more investment choices and potentially lower charges. Further information here

Good news. Meanwhile switching to a different CTF is a good idea as some do pay 3%. Contact new provider and tell them it is a transfer in.Latest Radio5 Podcast with Martin Lewis has info about switching. Was recorded prior to anouncement about CTF to jISA.
