They are apparently contacting 270,000 customers in stages and expect that around 30,000 will be entitled to compensation. What's not clear are the circumstances in which customers will be entitled to compensation.
Has anyone else received a letter from Santander regarding an error made on Abbey National mortgages at the end of 2008? Could anyone decipher it? I've read the letter several times, plus done some research on 'tinternet, and I am still none the wiser
