Clearblue digital ovulation said I ovulated, bloods said I didn't??

As above, blood results were pretty devasting as also found out One tube is knackered, have had 8 loses, but haven't fallen pregnant in past 3 years. So not only do I only have one tube, bloods show I'm not ovulating, even if I did get pregnant I would probably lose it but seems like there's no chance now without even ovulating. Only got the results yesterday about bloods but don't understand how the clearblue said I did?

I could be wrong, but I had the clear blue digital monitor, and I thought that the way all ovulation kits or strips work is that they tell you when your body is gearing up to ovulate - BUT that this is no guarantee that it actually happens....

Ps very sorry for all your losses, sounds like you've had a bad time. Did you ask the doctor about the ovulation kits? Have they given you a next step?

Ps no sure if this applies or not to you, but if you Have long or short cycles I think it it can affect the day 21 results - i.e. Day 21 results confirm ovulation but if you don't ovulate until late in the cycle then they will show that you didn't ovulate as it hasn't yet happened! Hope this makes sense!

The blood test is as accurate as the poas tbh. You need at least 6 months of day 21 tests to get an average progesterone figure, and even then if you don't start your period exactly 7 days later then you might not get an accurate result.

Stronggirl not very sensitive to post that on an infertility thread?

OP afraid I have no advice as I've never used ovulation kits but as PPs have said, they show when your body is gearing up to ovulate, not that you have ovulated. Sounds like you need more tests.

Not offended but laughing at the bitter irony of asking for advice on contraception failure in the barren corner of MN! I hope you get the outcome that you want.
