Anyone tried tamoxifen for male factor?

Hi

We're just back from our first consultation with mr Ramsay and he's prescribed DH tamoxifen for 3 months and then see us again in 4 months to see if it's improved the semen analysis. He currently has less than 0.1 million per ml and mainly all imotile so we felt sure Icsi was our only option but even thought we might need to use donor or have surgical retrieval. I understand we may still need Icsi or donor but Ramsay wants to see if tamoxifen can get it High enough for ivf Rather than Icsi.

Just wondered if anyone had tried it and had an success?thanks
