How to choose an NHS clinic?

Just that really! I've got my NHS referral through and now have to choose which local(ish) hospital to start treatment. No previous experience of them and feels like it could be really important.

I've got a choice of:
Warrington
Wrightington
Salford Royal
Whiston
Trafford General
Royal Bolton

Do I just use the NHS Choices ratings? I can't find NHS success rates for individual hospitals or CCGs anywhere.

Thanks Ladies, feeling the pressure!

Hi Astrid - gosh, that's a lot of choice you've been given! Personally, I used hfea's website and thoroughly looked at the success rates of each clinic. I then went along to the open days / evenings of the clinics I liked the look of to get a feel for the nurses and consultants. Then I used the forums on fertility friends website to talk to some of the women already having treatment (most IVF clinics have their own threads).

It can feel really overwhelming when you're just starting out, but I hope that helps a little!
