Irregular periods and autoimmune condition

I am almost 30 years old and I came off the pill about eighteen months ago with half an eye on trying for a baby. Just waiting for my partner to catch up! ???? Since I came off the pill I have been counting my cycles and have come to realize that they are a little irregular. Most cycles have been around 27 days but no month is the same and I have experienced everything from 21 days to 29 days. My periods came back within a month of coming off the pill and I have never missed a month since but I have also noticed that in the last few months the cycles seem to be getting shorter by a day or so, and this month it seems to have turned up on day 21 which is 4 days earlier than my last period! What complicates matters is that in the last couple of weeks I have found out that I probably have rheumatoid arthritis which is an autoimmune condition. Having consulted Dr. Google I am confronted with the news that autoimmune conditions can cause Primary Ovarian Failure and one of the symptoms of that is periods occurring more regularly or irregularly. I am really worried now that there could be something wrong and I wondered if you any of you lovely ladies could give me any advice or experiences you may have been? Sorry if I am posting in the wrong place. Thanks for your help.

Sam
