I donated eggs a couple of years ago. The fresh cycle didn't work but they tried again with a frozen embryo and now have a daughter.

Congratulations on your pregnancy, it's totally normal to worry. ThanksThanks

Oooh this thread has taken me back in time and I'm all emotional now. In a good way.

I had donor egg ivf 2-3 years ago - and we now have the most gorgeous 2 year old DD. She is everything I every wanted and so much more.

Bracken and Lauren massive congrats on the BFPs. Just like you both I was worried my whole pregnancy - it's natural when you want this so much. But hopefully my happy story will help you both stay positive and start believing this will actually happen. ThanksThanksThanks

OP and Lauren (yay!) - congratulations.

Sorry, worry is part of the pregnancy package!

I'm 30 weeks with second child after DE IVF (first was unassisted). This one is a drama queen already. Had a huge bleed at 6 weeks (on the back of history of 3 m/cs) so assumed it was all over but she hung on in there (and as we had 2 put back, best guess is that bleed was loss of the other). Now kicking the hell out of me as I try not to vomit. The joys to come...Grin.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

First week of Aug. Weather had better improve! Older one starts school in Sept so will be a bit manic but otherwise well-timed (as if I planned it that way - ha!).

After 18 years of trying with fertility treatment I became pregnant with my first ever donor egg & she is upstairs asleep now.

I cried all day every day out of desperation. If something was going to go wrong, please let it be sooner rather than later. Please don't let me see the heartbeat scan for it to be taken away. It was truly hideous.

I couldn't enjoy the pregnancy at all.

Having been there & done that, try & see each day that passes as a positive. Its a positive that you are a day closer to meeting your beautiful baby, s/he has been growing for another day & you've had another day of expecting a baby Grin

You'll look back & wonder where the time went. As hard as it is, please try & relish this time. I felt robbed & it was a waste if emotional head space.
Many congrats to you on your bfp x

Hello. I'm new to Mumsnet :)
I'm trying to find the egg donor thread and am a bit lost. I'm searching for a egg donor match after secondary infertility; my son born in 09 was naturally conceived, but i've since had 7 miscarriages (2 were a missed mc which was even worse in my experience), then diagnosed with endometriosis which was removed by surgery last Xmas. We had a failed ICSI at Herts and Essex in Cheshunt this Easter using my own eggs. I just felt i had to try one last time using my own eggs so was heartbroken when it failed.

I'm 5'7" white British with dark blond straight hair. I'm a creative person so would love that to be matched although realise that's unrealistic perhaps.
I've had a CMV blood test that was negative. We're hoping to find an altruistic donor. Feeling rather overwhelmed by it all and unsure where to look for help.
