Anyone in the dreaded 2WW on Clomid?

I'm roughly 7dpo and have massive sore boobs and last night nausea and cramping. Does anyone know what this is? It's my first cycle and tbh I feel rough as a badger's bum! Trying to stay positive!

Sorry, I don't know what DPO means?

But, I am on cycle 2 of clomid (well, I'm on day 27 now). First cycle was horrible, hormones all over the place, period type cramps and huge, tender boobs, I had random hot sweats and cried a lot. I was really worried but on a few threads on here mentioned the same things so it's just the Clomid effecting your hormones.

You have my sympathy though, it was horrible to experience, and as my first 50mg cycle didn't work, this cycle my dose was doubled!

Thanks for replying. I had no side effects at all while I was taking Clomid just now in the second half of my cycle. Dpo= days past ovulation.
Just had some browny stuff when I wiped earlier too. I'm on clomid to help address my short luteal phase but clearly it hasn't worked as I'm spotting again right on cue.

You must be due to find out if this cycle has worked for you or not?

My cycles are usually long (40 days) and I don't ovulate, so I'm waiting on day 21 (technically day 25) blood results to see if I ovulated. If yes then I have a little wait to see if I've been lucky this time.
The waiting is so stressful!
For me, my clomid side effects started about 4 days after I started taking them. First was hormonal (like really bad PMT). The week after was the tender boobs and cramping. I hope that means it's working for you Flowers

Id give anything for a longer cycle. I have a stupidly short LP- normally start spotting 6 dpo. I was hoping for no spotting this month and a longer LP. But the clomid has made no difference. I'm absolutely gutted. I hope you have more luck.

Sorry to hear that. I'm still getting annoying brown almost black! spotting. I wish AF would just get on with it so I can start second cycle of Clomid. What days are you taking it?

I take it for 5 days starting CD2. I'm on 100mg now (started on 50).

I had some good news though, even though AF started (and is really painful and heavy this time, which is new for me Angry ) my day 21 tests show that the clomid worked, my progesterone level was 67 (was 1 on a 50mg dose)! So although I'm disappointed at not being pregnant, I'm over the moon that it's working.
I had kind of convinced myself it wasn't going to work for me. I keep smiling, I have to try and stay realistic, but i feel really optimistic.

Sorry about your spotting. Our bodies do the most random things!
What dose of clomid are you on? It may just need to be increased

That's really good news about your progesterone. I'm sure your bfp is not far away.
I rang the hospital yesterday to find out my day 21 blood result and the only number that was given on my hospital letters are for the consultant 's secretary or to change appointment. The secretary couldn't tell me anything and suggested I wait until my next appt in July!! I just feel like I'm getting fobbed off. If it didn't make me ovulate last month which I suspect what is the point of taking the same dose this month? I wish I'd gone private. Do you get scans too?
