We're going on holiday abroad for a week mid May but due to the timing of my cycle, if we left starting the frozen cycle until we got back I'd 'miss' the chance to try until the next month, iyswim? My period is due this weekend so am thinking of starting a medicated frozen cycle this month and just staying down-regged for an extra week
or so (which can be done) and arranging embryo transfer for as soon as we get back.
Why the rush? I miscarried following a successful frozen cycle last year and trying naturally since hasn't worked. Everyone I know has or is having baby #2. Our son was also conceived with IVF. I'll be 38 in a few months and clinic advise doing a fresh cycle asap if next frozen cycle
doesn't work, due to the success rates falling after 38.
What would you do? I don't react too badly to the burserelin so the main issues would be injecting on holiday and concerns re alcohol consumption while away affecting the success of the cycle. I don't drink loads but like most people, I drink a bit more on holiday. Thoughts please? Thanks!
