IVF, first cycle, ARGC?

Hi,
hoping to get your advice on IVF clinics? We have a lovely DD, conceived naturally after MC treatment (heparin/progesterone). TTC #2 for a year and whilst DH is fine, I have a slightly raised FSH 10.9 and low AMH 4.

Just looking at IVF clinics now and the latest results from HFEA.
We are looking at Lister (good for low AMH), Guys (convenient for work, lots of friends had success here) and ARGC.

The ARGC results for my age group are 80%! Simply staggering and a good deal better than anywhere else. I am aware its a boot camp and not the faint hearted but really keen to hear people's views on other clinics.

Whilst we can afford IVF I know my husband won't be supportive of multiple rounds (And stress) so I am thinking straight to ARGC? But I am concerned that the process is stressful and potentially controversial due to immune therapy.

Any thoughts welcome.

It's definitely a bootcamp as you describe it but in my view the results are worth it, I am not sure of your age but the national success rate must be less than half of theirs. With hindsight I would have gone straight there rather than waste money and time and several failed cycles at another clinic. I was also like you trying to conceive a second child so for me time was massively important. (As an aside I have ended up with a huge 6.5 year age gap but they adore each other!) I don't have experience of the Lister or Guys though! At ARGC for a fresh cycle you are in there every day sometimes twice a day for bloods when you are cycling so ideally you will need 2/3 weeks off work unless work /childcare are very flexible. All the very best of luck and feel free to ask anything xxx

Thanks dannygirl, I am 34 so just under the 35 group. No other clinic compares, the Lister is 50% but they do take people that ARGC don't (high fsh).

I think we are going to go for it! I may be back for more questions and I am so pleased a bigger age gap worked for you.
