Which Fertility Clinic in Surrey?

After much debating my DH & I have decided to try for our first IVF cycle in the UK (and probably only cycle due to limited funds). This is mainly due to him not being able to take time off from work at a short notice (he needs 8 weeks + in order to take any annual leave!).

I have a DS at school, have just started a new full time job and I need to have a clinic near to where I live/work. I work in Epsom and have found these three clinics nearby:

New Life @ Epsom
Create @ Wimbledon
Woking Nuffield @ Woking

I have already attended the open day at New Life and I am intending to go for the open days for the other 2 clinic to have a look around … I will most probably go for the one with the highest statistics for IVF for women over 40 years (I’m turning 41 in November). Is this a good approach? How does one research the clinic? I have tried to have a look at the hfea website for statics but got myself thoroughly confused ?Does anyone have any experiences or recommendations?

And if you have any advice on how to get my body prepared for IVF then I’d love to hear it!

Hi. I'm having treatment at Nuffield Woking, under Paul Curtis. No BFP yet, but feeling very well looked after and confident that I'm getting good treatment. Mr Curtis has twice talked us out of expensive treatment that he didn't feel would be of benefit in our case, which increases our confidence in him. Good luck.
