The old thread which was so popular has become full so thought we'd start one here again for us all to support one another through the clomid journey and celebrate it's successes xx

Yes, keep up your day 21 KerryLou, it will at least prove you ovulate and react well to Clomid if you have to go for other treatment (hopefully not tho !) ... I have my first day 21 test on Monday. I'm pretty sure it will confirm I am not ovulating again. I did an opk today and the test line was darker than it has been before but still not as dark as the second line :( I've never had a positive result before - do the lines get progressively darker before you get a positive or is it just a "boom" there it is?

I am openminded about Spiritualists. I've met a few charlatans but one holistic palmist who blew me away ... He foretold my hubby and my boys as back then (in my early 20s) I never thought I'd manage to have children and I've always been very maternal. Don't give anything away ... Let them do the work. You'll get a sense of if they're any good.

Have any of you gals tried acupuncture? Xx

Yeah I'm definitely going for my bloods next time, if I need them that is.
Every ovulation test I have taken has been the same as yours, clear test line but a very faint second line. But this month (day 25 when I was feeling pain) I took a test and immediately 2 dark pink lines appeared. Think I said this before but my partner nearly died as he thought it was a pregnancy test lol.

Yeah I won't give anything away, and il tell them if what they're saying is wrong xxx

Ho kerrylou fingers crossed for you hun X
I had really bad ovulation pain ,the month I conceived it was so bad I went to a&e as I was struggling to walk and my back was killing, they said the comid stimulates your ovaries and that what the pain was, I had honestly never felt pain like it & I suffer will bad period pains X they gave me cocodamal, at that time they tested and I wasn't showing as pregnant ,cause it was way to early X really hoping for you xx I went to medium in Feb this yr,I really went for the same reason as I so wanted her to turn round and say I would have children X she said to me she couldn't get much through for me as she was getting a block, to do with fertility X she said I need to go to the doctors as I had a blockage, wasn't sure what it was, but it wasn't serious and said I would go non for a minor op X I didn't know what to belive, but that very month in had really bad pains ,went to the doctors and they did a ultrasound and found a 5 cm cyst, so I went into have that removed X the medium also said that I wouldn't tall pregnant naturally & would need some help and it would take a while X (she didn't think it would go as far as big though X if I'm completely honest she was spot on ,I was put on clomid and luckily fell. burning was heart broken when I came out and was upset for days as she said she wasn't sure if I was going to have children X my husband went and she never mentioned children to him X so I was a right emotional wreck for what seemed like ages X but now I look back she was right, but at that time it was something in wasn't expecting and made me feel a lot worse about everything XI it's up to you X u never know you might not need to go xxx

Sorry ,it wouldn't let me preview the whole message before I posted X (I meant to put "she didn't think it would go bad far as ivf though" instead of "burning it was meant to say "but I was heart broken" sorry guys xxx hope that helps xxx

Well I'm going to go, even if it is just to be told a pile of rubbish, its an experience isn't it. I'll keep my wits about it and will be very surprised if they get anything right. I've been to a few but nothing has ever made any sense. There's a lot of people out there that try to just make money by making up stories and saying whatever they want.

I havnt got a test for tomorrow morning, are they meant to be more precise if you take it first thing or does it not really matter?xxx

Welcome MrsExcited, isn't Provera horrible? It made me feel like crap. It worked for me but I didn't ovulate on my first cycle of clomid (50mg) so now on day 18 of my second cycle having taken 100mg and still no positive ovulation test. I wish I could just wait for my bloods (Monday) to confirm ovulation either way but I've had to keep an eye on it as my hubby has been intermittently away with work so been hoping not to miss our opportunity. It does make you a bit obsessive tho. I've had ultra long cycles (60 days) due to having to wait for day 42 before taking Provera again to induce a bleed. It's bleh. Baby dust all round ladies ... I hope your military operation is going well Anroga and let us know how your meeting with the Spiritualist goes KerryLou x

I think the hormone HCG levels are more concentrated in the morning so yep I'd hang on if I were you. Although if you ovulated so late would it show up yet? What day if your cycle are you? Throwing bucketfuls of baby dust your way! Poor hubby looked a bit scared when I presented him with the positive opk, bit of a predatory female at the mo. Lol xxx

Well seems like I wasted my time and my money last night! Most of the girls that went in before me got shown the IVF card......he told them that someone in the house was either pregnant and didn't know about it, or would be looking to have IVF treatment. When it was my turn I had to shuffle the cards and I dropped 2.....one of them was the IVF card. He didn't say it was me trying for a baby, he just said the same as everyone else. At the end of the session he asked if I had any questions, and I told him that its me who is trying. He said he could picture twin boys, and that it may take up to another year, but he doesn't think il need IVF, he thinks it will happen naturally.

He didn't say anything that made me think 'wow,' some of the stuff he said to me he had said to some of the others.

Still no period! Xxx
