hysteroscopy and aftercare

Hi everyone, I'm an English woman living in Spain and I've had a hysteroscopy today as they wanted to explore why I haven't conceived. They removed a septum (at least I think that's what it's called in English) and have widened my uterine cavity (again, that might be Spanglish).

My question is that they've given me some hormones to take for 21 days to help with scarring. Has anyone else had to do this? They're called Proglyluton and Equin. I wish I hadn't googled Equin as it sounds like it comes from pregnant mares' urine Shock!

Also, how long did you take to recover? They've recommended 48 hours at home, but I'm thinking about going back to work after 24.

Thanks in advance xx

Hi, I had a hysteroscopy this morning too (at ARGC in London). They didn't give me anything to take at all, and I was told 24 hour recovery period. I feel absolutely fine now actually, just had a restful afternoon, I would be fine to go back to work tomorrow. Good luck with everything!

Thanks Dannygirl, glad you're feeling fine. Good luck with everything too!

They actually removed a septum from my uterus, which is quite unusual. I was doing fine until half an hour ago when a migraine started. Suspect this is due to the progyluton so not going to take it any tonight and going to ring clinic in morning.
