Left ovary covered in scar tissue

Hi,

I have just found out my left ovary is covered in scar tissue and fusing to the side of my womb. I will be going to see a consultant but have only just been referred. My GP wasn't very helpful or informative so I was wondering whether anyone had any experience of this and what it means for future fertility?

The scar tissue is from an infection I got after having a termination for medical reasons. So I am desperate for a healthy pregnancy, I keep crying because I'm so worried about what this means. Sorry if I'm coming across as a drama queen, I just feel so low.
