When you are undergoing IVF (with ICSI) for male factor (zero sperm), and the woman has a child from a previous relationship so is considered fertile, will she still have to take all the hormones/injections etc? Thanks in advance!

Yes, in a nutshell. Unless you're doing natural cycle IVF, but then you'd only get one or two eggs.

You'll need the drugs to stimulate you to produce more eggs to increase the chance of conceiving viable embryos.

Ahh thank you, that makes sense. Was hoping I'd get away without it!
